Bar Keepers Friend is a top-tier shower cleaner and has been for several decades – but don’t take our word for it! In this post, you can read what a few of our fans have to say.
I wish I had taken before photos of my shower because what I’m about to share I did on my shower at home. My home was built in 1998, and my shower has endured 22 years of hard water. (Maybe I should invest in a water softener.) It was ugly. All of it—the shower stall, faucets, fixtures, and the shower door. Sick of looking at all that build-up, I decided to use some BKF. As I was wrapping up, my wife popped her head into the bathroom and cried, “It’s shiny!” It sure was!
What BKF Fans Had to Say about Cleaning Their Showers
You don’t need some expensive product!
“We recently moved, and the previous owners told me how I needed to go online and order this expensive cleaning product to remove the rust from our very hard water. I decided to try a “tried and true” method. I wish I would have gotten a before, but this was during. Only scrubbed for about a minute, and you can see how orange everything became! The bottom was after rinsing! No expensive product here, but fantastic results! It worked better than I ever thought! Hard water with rust was new to me, but BKF helped me transition beautifully!” –Mary D
Honestly, the picture says it all!
This testimonial comes from a Chilean grocer. It isn’t in English (it’s in Spanish), but the picture is really all you need.
“El baño de tu casa u oficina dice mucho que tipo de persona eres!!! Por eso puedes cambiar tu imagen fácilmente. Visita nuestra tienda y todo será más fácil.” —Distribduidorapillan

Hard water isn’t hard for BKF
“I honestly tried everything for my hard water build-up on my shower doors. Nothing worked! I was so frustrated, and a client of mine recommended this. I am so thankful that he did!! BKF is amazing! Highly recommend!” —Shelby B
I can see through my shower door!
“Seriously amazing product, tried everything else, then discovered this!!!” —Brad P
“I Have tried various products to clean the grime and water build-up from the shower. I was ready to call it quits but decided to give BFK a try. The results were nothing less than astonishing! Barely any elbow grease and in less than half an hour, and my shower door and floor are like new again!” — Alyssa
